According
to the BMA Board Decree No. 3/1989 on 20th May 1989 and
the Three-year Personnel Plan (during the fiscal budget year of
1988-1990), the City Planning Division was improved their working
structure again. They were divided into 6 Subdivisions and 1
Sections; (1) Secretary Section, (2) Policy and Evaluation
Subdivision, (3) Research Subdivision, (4) Surveying and Mapping
Subdivision, (5) Urban Development Planning Subdivision, (6)
Conservation and Renewal Planning Subdivision, and (7) Urban
Planning Control
Subdivision.
Later, according to the Three-year Personnel Plan (1991-1993) and
the BMA Board Decree No. 3/1992 on 20th March 1992, the
City Planning Division comprised 6 Subdivisions and 1 Section. They
were (1) Secretary Section, (2) Technical Subdivision, (3) Surveying
and Mapping Subdivision, (4) Research Subdivision, (5) Urban
Development Planning Subdivision, (6) Conservation and Renewal
Planning Subdivision, and (7) Urban Planning Administration
Subdivision.
In 1994, according to the
BMA Board Decree No. 11/1994 on 20th November 1994 and
No. 12/1994 on 26th December 1994 , the City
Planning Division has been promoted to be the Department namely "
the Department of City Planning " (DCP). There were totally 219
staffs in the period. In terms of working structure, there were 7
Divisions; (1) Secretary Division, (2) Technical and Policy
Division, (3) Surveying and Mapping Division, (4) Land Information
System Division, (5) Urban Development Planning Division, (6) Land
Readjustment and Urban Renewal Planning Division, and (7) Urban
Planning Control Division.

In 1997,
according to the BMA Board Decree No. 3/1997 on 21st
May 1997, the BMA was improved their working structure. As the result,
the Land Information System Division was transferred from the DCP to
the Department of Plan and Policy for the BMA, Therefore, the DCP
comprised the remaining 6 Divisions with totally number of 196
staffs in the year.
Recently,
according
to the BMA Board Decree No. 2/1998 on 16th February 1998,
the BMA has been improved the working structure and administration
system again. Finally, there were 188 staffs in 6 Divisions of the
DCP in this period.
